Organisation

The governance of Alp ICT is organised according to three levels.

On the political level, the governance rests with the Conference of the State Councillors (elected political officers) in charge of public economics from the seven cantons forming Western Switzerland.

The Department Heads (senior civil servants) from the seven cantons are responsible for determining the strategy of the cluster and drawing up the budgets.

Finally, on the operational level, individual actions are decided upon by a Steering Committee, composed of members from all Cantons participating in Alp ICT. It is currently chaired by the representative of the Canton of Geneva. In addition, an Executive Secretariat is in charge of the daily running of the Cluster. It is currently composed of Didier Mesnier, Executive Secretary, and Barbara Ben Hamadi, Marketing Assistant.
