BioAlps
The BioAlps cluster in Western Switzerland is a major and vibrant centre for medical technology and biotechnology, providing a unique growth environment. The BioAlps region is rated the 3rd European centre for research into biotech and medtech research, just after Cambridge and Oxford in the UK.
CleantechAlps
The know-how and expertise within the CleantechAlps network make it the gateway to clean technology in Western Switzerland. The aim of CleantechAlps is to promote Western Switzerland as a European centre of excellence for clean technologies in order to encourage the development of its companies and research organisations.
Micronarc
Micronarc is the communication platform of a unique hub of competence in micro and nanotechnologies . Deeply rooted in centuries-old traditions, the region’s passion for innovation and extreme precision is reflected in its exceptionally dense network of institutes of higher learning, research centres and private enterprises.
Support for innovation & business creation
ALLIANCE
Alliance is the consortium of transfer of knowledge and technologies of the French-speaking area of Switzerland and of Tessin. 6000 researchers of the high schools and the partner university hospitals are a member of it.
CFSCI
The CFSCI is an institution which works with the great majority of the French companies in Switzerland and Helvetian companies maintaining business connections with France.
CREAPOLE
Creapole is a new structure the main task of which is to identify and to foster the realization of projects of innovative economic startups, with a special focus on domains with great potential economic such as medtech or IT technologies.
CSEM - Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique SA
CSEM creates a dynamic link between research and high-tech industry, transforming scientific and technological knowledge into elegant solutions for cutting-edge products and applications.
CTI Start-up
CTI Start-up enables entrepreneurs to realize their innovative idea professionally. CTI also promotes the culture of entrepreneurship at universities, teaching hospitals, technical institutes as well as universities of applied sciences.

Euresearch is the Swiss guide to European research and the Swiss support for European business and innovation.
HES-SO
A vast reservoir of skills, ideas, innovations, creativity and knowledge, the HES-SO is keen to play a major role in the socio-economic development of the country, and is proud of the fresh impetus it is able to give to Western Switzerland.
Le Vivier
Le Vivier is a new kind of industrial centre that combines entrepreneurial dynamism with process specialisation. It aims to provide the ideal environment in which to start and grow a high tech and innovation-based business.
Neode
Neode is a science and technology park housing new companies (start-up) or already set-up companies which already have project in the fields of Micro or/and Nano Technologies.
Platinn
platinn supports start-ups and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in their business innovation projects. It contributes, accordingly, to their capacity to innovate and to their competitiveness.

THE ARK
