Incubator for collaborative projects in micro-engineering production
ARCM (the Community Research Association of Microtechniques) aims to connect and federate manufacturers, subcontractors and users of the micro-engineering production from the Jura arc around community development projects.
Why? The pooling of development projects, which do not question the know-how and specificities of SMEs, will allow them to access innovations by reducing the risks and investments. ARCM is convinced that to remain competitive in an ultra-competitive market, a regional collaboration around know-how unique to the world, and the pooling of certain developments, can be an effective response.
By offering a neutral and simple platform, ARCM facilitates access for industrial SMEs to a network dedicated to project development and the organization of events with high added value.
How does it work? ARCM identifies development needs, maps skills of all the institutions of the ARC Jura and connects partners with similar needs by taking advantage of the proximity to a very dense industrial territory. Once the themes are defined, ARCM offers and manages technology transfer projects, based on the identified industrial needs.
Two themes are currently of particular interest in the industries
Industrial ecology: ARCM supports projects for an improvement in the energy efficiency, product life cycle analysis and production optimization.
Industry 4.0: ARCM is committed to process digitization, machine connectivity and data processing, which are necessary to remain competitive and demanding.
Take advantage of collaborative economies & effective synergies
ARCM has just launched its first community project called “COMAC 4.0” whose goal is: “Interconnect machines and analyze data in order to visualize and improve the production processes efficiency in an Industry 4.0 context”. Registration deadline is September 8th. You can find more details of the project at this address: https://arcm.ch/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/COMAC-4.0-v2.5.pdf
You can also submit online your own project directly on the association website.
